The Parable Of The Drunken Sailors
Three drunken sailors entered their boat in the evening. They hoped to sail to a far away city. All the night, their hearts were full of merriment and their lips full of utterances. They hoped to reach the far away city in the morning. At dawn, when the influence of alcohol had left them, and when they suppose to have reached the city, they discovered that the boat had remained in the same spot all the night, and the rope still anchored to the shore.
So it is with numerous churches which are like buses full of passengers, each ready for a long journey, but all standing still, even without knowing it.
